Scotland's Housing Expo 2010
Callpay Information: March 2009
11 March 2009

Albyn Housing Society is now offering its tenants even more choice of how to pay their rent with the addition of a new telephone payment service, Callpay.

The housing association, which owns over 2,000 flats and houses to rent around the Highlands, believes it is the first to offer this service, which was introduced in response to customer demand.

The introduction allows tenants to dial into Albyn’s Invergordon office to make a payment, or discuss their financial situation.

Calum Macaulay explained that Callpay is just one of many payment options for tenants: “We recognise that it is good practice to offer a variety of rent payment options to customers and we are pleased to add this to our existing range of accessible and convenient payment methods. These include swipe card, at the post office, using Paypal or over the internet.

“We expect the Callpay system to be really attractive to people who are struggling to pay their rent during these tough times, as our trained staff can give advice and help find a solution.”

To pay by telephone tenants need their Allpay payment card and credit or debit card.

Trained staff are available at 01349 852978.
